3 Word Wednesday - Behave/Jettison/Mob

The Night Sky

Jesse, just having been tucked into bed, thought he saw a flash of lights coming in through his bedroom window.  He jumped out of bed and ran to take a look at what it may have been.

"Mommy! Daddy!  Come quick, come quick, there's something in the sky!"  Jesse was now hopping up and down with excitment.  "Hurry! Hurry!" he cried.

"Jesse, you are supposed to be in bed.  Now why are you hopping around in front of your window?!  This is not how you are supposed to behave at bed time you know."

"I know mommy, but come look!  I saw lights flash on the wall after I was tucked in and got up to have a look outside to see what it was."

Kate and John approach the window, somewhat sceptical.  They look out at the night sky and see green lights which appeared to be glowing bigger with each second that passed.

"What is it mom and dad?"  Jesse asks while looking in awe.

"I don't know Jesse", they replied in unison.

Kate, managed to take her eyes of the green glow of the lights and noticed that many of the neightbours were now walking into the street to get a better look at the phenomenon in the sky.   The lights grew bigger and brighter and soon stopped above the trees.  We were able to make out a round shape of the craft from which the lights came.

What appeared to be a door opened on the craft, and the silouette of a being could be seen standing there.  It looked as if it was going to jettison something from the craft.  And then there it was, a white light floating down from the craft light a birds feather.

Then door closed and just as quickly as the craft arrived, it was gone.

The neighbours ran towards the treed area where the white light was dropped, like a crazy mob on Black Friday at Wal-Mart.
